What does this phrase mean to you?
To be perfectly calm at all times?
To be totally in control of your emotions?
To never have fear, worry, or anger?
Well… I can say that Inner Peace only comes when you are in calm countenance with the world around you.
This current physical reality is not one that you were meant to be permanently a part of. It is just a stopping place before your next journey. This Earth-existence is an opportunity for you to develop the deepest level of inner peace possible.
With all the craziness going on in the world, does it even seem possible, that inner peace is achievable?
The question you should be asking yourself is… “Can I achieve this now?” and “Can I always keep it with me?”
I am here to tell you that inner peace can be attained now and can evolve into something even greater like stillness, joy, bliss, and the highest form of consciousness as self-realization.
Inner peace is just that, a form of consciousness.
This form or level of consciousness can be realized at any time, but initially it requires work to attain it.
There all kinds of avenues you might take to achieve inner peace.
Below are some of the more popular forms:
- Acceptance of Reality
- Being Open
- Being Present
- Having Faith (being hopeful)
- Self-Help Books
- Self-Help Audio Tapes
- Spending Time in Nature
More uncommon forms include:
- Tai Chi
- Qi Gong
- Learning New Things
- Natural therapies – Chiropractic, Massage, Acupuncture, Herbs
How ever you get it, you must! This is because inner peace is absolutely essential to the process of life itself!
Being able to calm your inner storm at will, can allow you scale heights you would never normally know.
Bringing inner peace to yourself, will bring it to those around you. It is as contagious as a virus! It will spread like wildfire to your family, friends, and coworkers.
This is because manifesting an inner peace consciousness (generally a care-free nature) creates a vibration of pure stillness in the physical body, emotional body, and thought body.
The waves of serenity you give off during a time a true tranquility, can help transform those who are closest to you.
You will literally have the power to help them grow and blossom into the perfect creation they were meant to be.
Now… doesn’t that sound worth it?
Try this small exercise to help bring on a sample of inner peace.
It is called the shambhavi mudra.
It is an ancient technique that has been used for millennia in India and other places that practice spiritual yoga as a mainstay.
I mentioned this technique in my last blog post on Journeys to the Ends of the Earth. It was a part of the “Silent Meditation” exercise, where you will focus all of your attention to the third eye.

The power in this mudra or body positioning, is the focus your physical eye movement brings to the center of the forehead.
The focus centralizes the energy in the body towards the third eye (center of the forehead).
The longer period of time you can maintain it – 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes at a time, the greater the amount of energy pushed towards the center of the forehead
The third eye becomes opened and voila! magic happens.
If you are feeling tension at the third eye, then you are doing the shambhavi mudra correctly.
This technique is one the most powerful out there and will help to bring on inner peace at will.
